The Kings Arms Hotel enjoys a prime location in the center of Keswick, making it ideal for exploring the town and visiting Keswick Market right outside the hotel on weekends. The restaurant is a highlight, known for its inviting atmosphere and tasty dishes like the rump steak cooked to perfection; many found the portions plentiful. While most guests appreciate the hotel's central position and comfortable, nicely decorated rooms, some rooms may be situated close to a ventilation system and may be relatively noisy.

great breakfastcentral location
The hotel's location is CENTRAL (just steps from shops). Parking is available behind the hotel. The staff can help with the permit. THE breakfast was satisfactory with plenty of choices.
The cups were not washed well and there was a coffee ring in one.

perfect locationtiny windowkitchen smell
The hotel location was spot on and right in the middle of town.
The room felt smaller than what I expected, and the window was tiny. A smell from the kitchens kept wafting up to my room in the evening. I was also woken in the night each time the people in the room next door flushed the loo, which wasn't very relaxing.

the staff was friendly, and the location was central.
I was disappointed with the room. the tv was small and far from the bed. Viewing it was difficult, though i understand this might be due to the room size, i did expect better. there was also some noise late at night from what sounded like street cleaning. This disrupted my sleep.

dining area cleanlinessrushed waiter
I found that the cleanliness in the dining area was not ideal. There were some crumbs on the floor near my table. The waiter seemed rushed, asking about my order multiple times before I could decide (I felt a bit pressured). I could hear staff discussing other guests near the till. This.
